On the World Stage | Dr. Marie Y. Lemelle | Transform Goals to Greatness™

On the World Stage

A message can fill a room. The right message can follow people home and change what they do next.

When I step onto a stage, I am not there to deliver a collection of motivational phrases that sound good for an hour and disappear by the next morning.

I want to create the kind of conversation that causes people to examine where they are, reconsider what they have accepted and recognize what may still be possible.

The Approach

A powerful speaker does more than command attention.

My experiences have taken me from corporate and community leadership to international engagement, university platforms, media, entertainment and rooms where decisions carry consequences far beyond the people seated at the table.

Each setting has reinforced my belief that a powerful speaker earns trust, understands the audience and gives people something valuable enough to carry with them after the microphone has been turned off.

That is how I approach every engagement.

“My goal is not for an audience to leave saying, ‘That was a great speech.’ I would rather hear that someone made a decision.”

The moments tell the story. The achievements reveal the journey.

What follows is a glimpse of the work, the recognition, the rooms and the journey behind the platform — from red carpets and international engagement to leadership, education, speaking and global recognition.

Explore the moments below: each video offers a different view of the experiences, milestones and opportunities that have shaped Dr. Marie’s work and expanded the responsibility attached to her platform.

Grounded in the Philosophy

I do not ask audiences to chase someone else’s definition of achievement.

My speaking work is grounded in Transform Goals to Greatness™ and the G.R.E.A.T. System™ — Get Clear, Recognize Your Value, Elevate Through Action, Amplify the Impact and Transform and Teach.

I challenge people to examine their experiences, recognize the value those experiences have created and decide how they will use what they know to build something greater.

For Business & Leadership Audiences

Reputation, readiness and communication are increasingly connected.

For business and leadership audiences, I bring another dimension to the conversation through Financial Communications Technology — FinCommTech.

Leaders increasingly operate in an environment where reputation, financial readiness, stakeholder confidence, visibility and access to opportunity are closely connected.

My presentations help executives and entrepreneurs understand how the ability to communicate value can influence relationships with customers, investors, financial institutions, employees and the communities they serve.

Conversations Created for the Room

The subject may change. The respect for the audience does not.

Before I decide what I want to say, I consider what the people in the room need to hear and what I want them to be able to do differently because we spent that time together.

01

Entrepreneurs

Moving from ambitious ideas to the confidence, credibility and strategy required to move them forward.

02

Executives & Corporate Leaders

Reputation, communication, organizational value and the responsibility that accompanies influence.

03

Students & Emerging Professionals

Recognizing that experiences once viewed as disadvantages may become important parts of a leadership story.

04

Women in Leadership

Confidence, authority, reinvention, visibility and using experience without diminishing what has already been earned.

05

Community & Chamber Audiences

Leadership that strengthens connection, expands opportunity and creates healthier communities.

06

International Audiences

Purpose, dignity, ambition and leadership lessons that travel across geography and culture.

“I would rather hear that someone made a decision.”

What Meaningful Speaking Looks Like

The real measure comes after people leave the room.

An entrepreneur finally moves an idea out of a notebook and into the marketplace.

An executive recognizes that leadership requires a difficult conversation that can no longer be postponed.

A student begins seeing a future that once felt beyond reach.

Someone who spent years diminishing their accomplishments finally understands the value of the experience they have earned.

International Engagement · Industry Access · Recognition to Responsibility

From Recognition to Responsibility

Every platform expands the responsibility attached to it.

Being recognized for my work has given me opportunities to stand on stages I once could not have imagined. Receiving honors, representing organizations and serving in international capacities are meaningful because each one expands the responsibility attached to the platform.

My appointment as an International Goodwill Ambassador extended that responsibility beyond the United States and reinforced an important lesson: geography may change the circumstances surrounding people’s lives, but ambition, dignity, hope and the desire to create a better future need very little translation.

Recognition & Authority

Recognition matters most when it deepens service.

Awards, honors and public recognition can validate years of work, but they are not the destination. They expand visibility — and with visibility comes a greater responsibility to use influence well.

On the World Stage is not simply about where I have been seen. It is about what those moments allow me to say, whom they allow me to serve and what becomes possible because the platform grew.

Award Acceptance · Recognition · Responsibility

Global PR Personality of the Year 2024 · Recognition · Leadership

Global Recognition

Recognition becomes meaningful when it reflects years of purposeful work.

Dr. Marie Y. Lemelle was recognized as Global PR Personality of the Year 2024, honoring a body of work shaped by communications, leadership, visibility, service and the responsibility that comes with influence.

The moment represents more than an award. It reflects the reach of work built across industries, communities and international platforms — and the continued commitment to use recognition as a bridge to greater impact.

Journey · Education · Speaking · Global Experience

Leadership & Education

Knowledge becomes more valuable when the next generation can use it.

University classrooms, student audiences and leadership education create a different kind of room — one where ideas can be examined, challenged and refined by people preparing to shape what comes next.

I begin with respect for what people already know. My role is to help them look at that knowledge differently, recognize the value in their experiences and understand where those experiences can take them next.

Signature Conversations

The presentation should fit the moment, not force the moment to fit a presentation.

These signature conversations can be tailored for corporations, universities, associations, conferences, chambers of commerce, leadership retreats and international organizations.

Bring the Conversation to Your Stage

A speaking engagement begins before I reach the stage.

I want to understand why you are gathering people, what matters to them and what you hope remains with them when the event is over. From there, we can create an experience that connects your purpose with a message your audience can carry forward.
